Classic Series
The Classic Series comprises a 6.5" 2-way car component set designed for high-quality sound in cars. The WF160WA02-01 is powered by a large 90mm magnet structure that ensures good efficiency and optimal T/S parameters. The large 32mm voice coil ensures high powered handling - both thermally and mechanically. The optimized paper cone ensures wide bandwidth and low distortion. Distortion is further reduced by efficient venting and an alu stabilizing ring. Read more about the woofer here.
The TS030 30mm silk dome tweeter features a powerful dual neodymium magnet structure, with large heat sink and several other special features. TS030 has low resonance frequency making it ideal for 2-way applications. Read more about it here.
The crossover is specially designed for car audio and optimises off-axis frequency response by using lower order crossovers for better transient performance. By using only high quality components such as aircore inductors and film capacitors, this crossover ensures that the sound reproduction will remain true and realistic.

Performance
Series A Performance Series B
The Performance Series comprises a 6.25"or 6.5" 2-way car component set designed for high-quality sound in cars. This series comes with a choice of 2 midbass drivers: WF160WA01-01 (Series A) or WF166TU02-01 (Series B).
The Series A midbass driver WF160WA01-01 is powered by a dual neodymium magnet structure that ensures good efficiency and suitable T/S parameters, and at the same time offering extremely good magnetical shielding. The large 32mm voice coil and the special heat sink ensure high powered handling - thermally and mechanically The optimized paper cone ensures wide bandwidth and low distortion. Distortion is further reduced by efficient venting of chassis and voice coil. Read more about the woofer here.
The Series B midbass driver WF166TU02-01 is designed for demanding bass and midrange applications. It works equally well for most applications but is designed especially for automotive high-end sound. The very rigid die cast alu chassis follows common standard dimensions for easy installation in cars. The WF166TU02-01 is powered by a large 90mm magnet structure that ensures good efficiency and optimized T/S parameters. The large 32mm voice coil ensures high power handling - thermally and mechanically. The optimized paper cone ensures wide bandwidth and low distortion. Distortion is further reduced by efficient venting and a separate alu field stabilizing ring. WF166TU02-01 is a good choice for 2-way car speaker systems. Read more about the woofer here.

The Reference Series represensents our top of the range car component set . It features Wavecor's latest 7"midbass driver WF 182BD-03 featuring with an advanced motor design incorporating Wavecor's proprietary Balanced Drive motor structure for optimal drive force symmetry resulting in largely reduced 2nd order harmonic distortion .In additionc copper cap is incorporated on center pole to reduce voice coil inductance and to minimize variations in voice coil inductance as a function of voice coil position. With a low Fs in the 30s Hz, this driver has outstanding low bass output and definition to challenge all current high end contenders.

For this series, we have a specially designed crossover using all components exclusively by Mundorf. By using only high quality components such as aircore inductors and film capacitors, this crossover ensures that sound reproduction will be seamless across the transition from the tweeter and midbass drivers.
